Started training in 1986 with Sensei Grice.

Passed Dan grade in 1991 and Passed Nidan in 1993. Trained with many top English and Japanese instructor including Masao Kawasoe and the late Keinosuke Enoeda.

Competed during the ninties in many compatitions both regional and national in Kumite. Kata and team events.

3rd in north west open womens Kumite and Kata 3rd in the Cheshire invitational womens Kumite and 2nd in regional open womens Kata.
